# Conditional Actions - Conditional Choices

#### Make a dropdown or multiselect field only display a sub-set of choices based on a defined condition

There might be times when several choices are presented in a picklist (dropdown or multiselect) field, but only specific choices apply in specific circumstances. This is where conditional choices come in. To set one up, follow these steps:

1. On any Dropdown field or Multiselect field, open the conditional action editor, create a new action, and select the “Conditional Choices” action
2. Define the condition
3. Within the formula editor, select the choices that will apply when the condition is met
