### Highlighted Features

#### Lab PDF Importing

Local lab results from PDF files can now be scanned by TrialKit to upload lab tests across multiple subjects. This saves time with manual data entry.

#### Visit window forced view

A new configuration option has been made available to encourage sites to enter data in the current visit window when a subject’s casebook is opened.

#### Automatic label connections in form builder

Form building on the web is now faster. When a field is placed on a form, the system will immediately prompt to enter the text label. After submitting, the label will get automatically associated to the field and the reporting label will be set as the same. This prevents what used to be separate manual steps which left room for user error.

#### Task Recreation

Previously only one automated [task](/v1/docs/tasks) could be created for a given record. Now a new task can be triggered if the existing task on the record has already been closed.

[Read more](/v1/docs/configuring-email-notifications-and-distribution-lists#creating-tasks-from-notifications)

#### Choice Field Randomized List Order

Study builders can now set choice fields to display the choice list in a random order each time the form is loaded. This is helpful primarily with Participant-facing assessments to prevent response bias.

[Read more](/v1/docs/field-types-and-properties#randomized-choice-list-order)

#### Folder-level locking in the TMF

Folders can now be locked as an optional safeguard to prevent modification of files or the properties. Locking a folder will also lock all files within that folder.

### Other Worthy Mentions

- Improved [search in form builder](/v1/docs/form-building-and-related-tools#searching-field-names)
- [Data changes](/v1/docs/subject-casebooks#data-entry) on a form now make it more difficult to exit the form without providing change reasons
- DICOM [series report](/v1/docs/trialkit-pacs-for-dicoms#list-of-dicoms-by-series) for easier reconciliation

### Impact Considerations

Impact ratings can be found within the release notes for each change. Any changes that have potential to impact study configurations, expected existing behavior, or changes to common user navigation will be highlighted here.

- Moderation in the adjudication process now only requires one field to be completed. [Read more.](/v1/docs/adjudication#moderate-resolve-or-approve-adjudicated-events)
- Modification to the “Site” property in TMF now requires full TMF access, so only an Admin type role can now connect files to specific sites. This is to prevent site users from seeing and labeling sites other than their own. [Read more](/v1/docs/trial-master-file-etmf#folder-or-file-properties).
