Participant Notifications is a tool that can be used to send manual messages (notifications) to study Participants.
Prerequisite
Requires role security access to Participant Notifications
Accessible under the Subject/Participant menu only via the web.

Once open, you can filter (item 1 below) by site or note type.
Individual messages can be sent by clicking the link (item 4 above), or group messages can be sent by selecting the Group column checkboxes and clicking the Send Group Notification link (Item 2 and 3 above). Past messages can also be viewed by tapping the “view” button.
Email is the best means of notifications
Its usually helpful to send messages via email to ensure delivery. Push notifications are only received by Participants that use the mobile app, and are easily dismissed on each user’s device.
