# Remove Bias Response From Questionnaires

Participant questionnarires or assessments are a common part of study conduct, but often lend themselves to either biased or inaccurate responses from the Participants. This table below explains some of those scenarios and how TrialKit provides tools to mitigate them.

| Issue | Available Solutions |
| --- | --- |
| **Overlapping diary windows** A Participant can still access/complete yesterday’s diary along with today’s diary. Responses could get mixed up. | Make the Participant aware of what diary they are entering by [forcing an auto-stamped date](/v1/docs/configuring-study-for-epro-and-ediaries#the-visit-date-field-on-epro-forms) into the form. |
| **Innacurate responses** Guess work, where responses like how long a person slept could be reported incorrectly | [Integrated wearables](/v1/docs/wearables-health-and-activity-data-collection-apple-health-google-health-connect-and-fitbit) to gather metrics like sleep or activity automatically from proven wearables. |
| **Repeating choice order** (aka “[Response Bias](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Response_bias)”). For studies that deliver assessments or questionnaires to Participants, response bias is a possibility when question choices repeat over multiple questions. For example, there can be a tendency to always choose option 2 or 3 if the choice is always the same. | Use randomized response order within choice fields. TrialKit can randomly order the choices of these questions so the Participant must answer more thoughtfully. This can be done with Single select, Multi-select, Radio, and checkboxes. [Here’s how](/v1/docs/field-types-and-properties#randomized-choice-list-order). |
