TrialKit has the ability to generate Sample IDs for external central labs to reference and send back data to the corresponding record in the study. The setup for this is incredibly simple.
First, Enable Lab uploads in the study configuration. This is how TrialKit will know to store sample IDs for lab requests
Create a lab request form and set the corresponding form property. This is the form that sites will complete to generate a sample ID. When this form is exported as a PDF, it will contain that sample ID along with the tests being requested. The PDF will be placed in the mailing envelope/box being shipped to the lab.
The lab will use the sample ID to record on their end, and send the data back via API to the TrialKit database. That data will update the study’s lab form. Note, the study can only have one lab form.
